A My Little Pony inspired figurine!

(Personally I haven’t watched the show but my friend keeps bugging me to watch it so maybe I will, soon). I like the patched look of items, like plushies and such, so I decided to make a little pony that is patched up and whatnot. I made this out of clay and hand painted the red flower-like figures on the pink parts. It’s supposed to be cloth a pattern. 

Laguna: “It looks like a mix between Gir and MLP.”

I made this for my buddy Negligent, it was his birthday a few days ago and he asked me for a present. And thus a keychain Malzahar came out of it.

I tried doing a more realistic malz but my sculpting skills are not up to that level yet, so I went for a more “chibi” look. This is also bigger than other keychain/charms I’ve made thus far. I like how he came out. Painting the symbols was hard, my hand was shaking sometimes because I didn’t want to mess up. Anyway I hope you guys enjoy this little guy. :]

A wip of a My Little Pony inspired miniature figurine. It needs to be baked and then glazed. I went for a patched, sewn together look because…well I like that look. XD

A WIP of my gift for my friend Negligent. He asked for Malzahar from the game League of Legends. It was quite the challenge since I don’t do humanoids too often, but it was quite the learning experience. :]

He’s hanging out in my oven right now waiting to be baked. Then I’m going to paint the symbols on his scarf and hood. He’s also going to get glazed and I’m going to put a keychain on him. ^_^

These are the first two in my series, Cute With a Twist!

I made the bear from a metallic gold clay, hand painted details, and glazed it for that shiny finished look. I made the bunny from a purple clay, hand painted details, and glazed it for that shiny finished look. You can’t see it in this pic but she has a skull on her ear. :]

I have attached a keychain to both so you can hang them wherever. For more angles of either of them, visit my shop.

I made these guys out of a metallic blue clay I have. They are glazed for that shiny finished look. The squid has a keychain and the the octopus has a cell phone strap. 

Give them a nice home. :3

Decided to post a WIP pic of the skull I made and painted. Dia de los muertos style. :]

Right now the glaze is drying, but it’s going to be put up for sale tomorrow in my shop. I’m going to have more pictures of it too. I like how it came out. Was hard to paint all the stuff on it, had to have a steady hand for it. But I think it came out good. :D

My second set of charms. I got some colored clay and I’m having a blast with it so far. (Had to get used to it first though since it’s a lot softer than the other clay I work with).
